Senior Olivia Burne of the Stony Brook women's cross country and track and field programs has been named America East Woman of the Year, conference officials announced Tuesday at the Annual Meeting in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. The honor recognizes the conference's senior female student-athlete who has best distinguished herself throughout her collegiate career in the areas of academic achievement, athletic excellence and leadership on and off the field.
