Sophomore Lamar Hayes (Voorhees, N.J.) won the long jump and finished third in the 200 to lead the Stony Brook men's track & field team in its season opener at Fordham.

Sophomore Eric Speakman (Napier, New Zealand) and junior Olivia Burne (Palmerston North, New Zealand) of the Stony Brook men's and women's cross country team were named All-Region and All-Academic on Wednesday.
