The Stony Brook women's track and field team grabbed a meet-high six of the 12 available finals spots in the 1,500-meters on the first day of the America East Outdoor Championships hosted by the University of Vermont. Sophomore Christina Meilan was first in 4:41.10, and senior and reigning champion Olivia Burne was second in 4:42.23.
